Frane Selak

Born in 1929, Frane Selak is a Croatian music teacher commonly known  for his several escapes from fatal accidents:

To start with, merely after 3 decades of his life, In January, 1962, while traveling in a train  to Dubrovnik from Sarajevo. The train suddenly derailed,  plunging both his passengers and itself  into a very icy river, 17 passengers succumbing  to it. Frane however, narrowly escaped with just a few bruises and minor scrapes and a broken arm.

That not being enough, on his way to Rijeka from Zagreb on plane,  the plane door dangled away off the cockpit, pushing him out of the plane. It is alleged that, nearly 20 people got killed, Frane however only suffered just  minor injuries, miraculously he also landed simply in haystack.

1966, while riding on a bus, it  crashed plunging into a river. 4 others people passed on, Frane managed to escape totally unharmed.

In 1970, Frane Selak, managed to get away before a faulty fuel pump cleared his car into flames.

In 1973, Frane Selak's car,  caught fire, compelling  fire via the air vents. It is said that he sufferedvirtually injuries thereby saving the loss of most of his hair.

In 1995, Franc got hit by a city bus, but as usual he only suffered minor injuries.

As if that was not enough, 1996 Frane did escape when he drove off a cliff in an attempt to escape an oncoming truck. Frane however did manage to land in a tree, while watching car exploding almost  300 feet just below him.

However in 2003 Frane, lucky enough, won a whopping $1,000,000 dollars in Croatian lottery, he confessed clearly that "I knew that the almighty God was watching over me all these years." According to the times newspaper, Frane, has reputedly refused to flying to Australia on a Doritos commercial plane, alleging that "I don't want to test my luck."

Though he prefers to be considered world's luckiest man,  he can also be considered as the world's unluckiest man.
